Engr. Nazar Siddiqui established ATIF NAZAR (Pvt.) Ltd. in 1981, following his distinguished education at NED University of Engineering & Technology. His visionary leadership transformed a small consultancy into one of Pakistan's most respected engineering firms.
His education at the prestigious NED University provided him with exceptional expertise in structural engineering, hydraulics, and urban planning—skills that proved invaluable during Pakistan's transformative development period and Karachi's rapid urbanization in the 1960s-70s.
Under his strategic guidance, the firm—originally established as Atif Nazar Associates and registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council in 1982—rapidly expanded to undertake major infrastructure and institutional projects throughout the nation, earning a distinguished reputation for technical excellence and uncompromising integrity.
Throughout his illustrious career, Engr. Nazar Siddiqui made landmark contributions to Karachi's architectural landscape and infrastructure development. His exceptional expertise led to his appointment to influential technical committees at the Pakistan Engineering Council, where he helped shape national engineering standards and practices.
Though he passed in 2020, his professional legacy endures through ATIF NAZAR (Pvt.) Ltd., now led by his sons, and through the numerous iconic structures across Pakistan that stand as testaments to his engineering brilliance and unwavering commitment to excellence.

Atif Nazar Associates was established by Engr. Nazar Siddiqui in Karachi, Pakistan, beginning as a small consulting engineering practice.

The firm was officially registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) on June 4, 1982, marking the beginning of its formal operations.
1990: Expansion of Services
The company expanded its service offerings to include comprehensive architectural design and project management, growing beyond its initial civil engineering focus.
2000: Entry into Healthcare Sector
The firm began specializing in healthcare infrastructure projects, quickly becoming recognized for expertise in hospital and medical facility design.
2006: Incorporation as Private Limited

His leadership as Honorary Secretary of the Association of Consulting Engineers Pakistan (ACEP) has positioned ATIF NAZAR at the forefront of industry standards, while his contributions to the Pakistan Engineering Council's Standard Bidding Documents Committee have helped reshape national engineering guidelines.
