Project overview
A pavement condition survey along Road 13000 found the asphalt gone and the subgrade exposed over long stretches, the roadside drain choked and unprotected, and standing water breaking up what pavement remained. Traffic had moved onto the parallel roads, and the exposed reserve was being encroached.
We prepared the feasibility and design: reconstruction of 2,230 m of Road 13000 from the Korangi cricket ground to the end of Sector 51D, with three 3.65 m lanes each way, a two-lane service road and a drain on both sides; a 593 m flyover running from in front of the Sindh Government Hospital to the cricket ground; and a 260 m access road down to Korangi Creek.
The figure given below is the estimated value of the scheme, not the practice's fee. The Annual Development Programme number is the public reference to quote.
