Project overview
The sailing and boating centre at Manora is ground plus one and covers 40,750 sq ft on the waterfront at PNS Rahbar.
A sailing centre is organised around getting boats in and out of the water. The boat shed, maintenance area and sail safety equipment store sit on the water side with the wooden deck and floating jetty beyond them; reception, offices, a conference room, training and briefing areas, team player rooms and crew and duty offices sit behind, with a café lounge and terraces facing the marina.
The building is planned as a coastal one — grey-toned façades, rhythmic columns, shaded verandahs and terraces under a prominent entrance canopy. The practice carried architecture, structural and MEP engineering and holds project management and detailed supervision.
