Project overview
The sick bay at PNS Rahbar is single storey and covers 14,550 sq ft. It provides medical, diagnostic, treatment and support services to the officers, sailors, cadets, staff and visitors of the academy.
The accommodation is that of a small general practice with a minor theatre attached: outpatient departments, a general treatment area, a dental room, a minor operation theatre, a laboratory, an X-ray lab, a medical equipment room, a pharmacy and a nurse station, with reception, waiting and administrative offices at the front. Separate areas are provided for officers, CPOs and sailors, and for male and female cadets.
The building is single storey with a red sloping roof, rhythmic columns and a shaded verandah, set in landscaped grounds with organised parking.
